Midwest Gastrointestinal Associates, PC is excited to announce that we have a new and improved Patient Portal to enhance your healthcare experience. This new portal will offer more features, better functionality, and a more user-friendly interface.

Please note that the old Patient Portal (one used prior to August 6) will no longer be updated. To register for the new Patient Portal, please call our office at 402-397-7057, and we will send you an invitation email for the new and improved system. We will also provide you with detailed instructions on how to access and use the new portal, ensuring a smooth transition.

Sign up for the new portal will begin on August 6, 2024 as we migrate to our new Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.  Once you have signed up for the new and improved patient portal, please use this link: Log on (mygportal.com).

To log into the old portal , please use this link:  https://myhealthrecord.com/Portal/SSO.  Please keep in mind that this portal will no longer be updated or monitored for messages/communications.  Please sign up for the new portal that is available as of August 6, to keep up-to-date with your heath records and communications.

Details on Your New Portal

To Register for the new portal…

1) Contact our office at 402-397-7057 so we can send you an invitation email to take you through the registration process.

2) Click on the link in the invitation email to create a unique user ID and password.

3) Once registered, complete your medical, family and social history.

4) Click “send” to submit your information.

How to…

Send a message to our office?

  • Click on the “message” tab
  • Click “new” and compose your message
  • Remember to hit “send”

Receive messages through Patient Portal?

  • You will receive a notification email when you have a message waiting in Patient Portal
  • Click on the “messages” tab
  • Click on “new messages” to view your messages

Update my personal information?

  • Click on “health summary”, then click on “update”
  • Change the information you want
  • Click “send” to submit changes

Rest my Password

  • Click on “my account/change password”
  • Enter your username, DOB and registered email address

Can I schedule my appointment online through Patient Portal?

You may send a request to schedule your appointment and our practice will contact you.

Does Patient Portal allow me to send a message directly to MGI?

Yes, you may send a message directly to our office through Patient Portal. Select “clinical” for any type of questions related to your health. You can also send billing or other types of inquiries.

Can I refill my prescription through Patient Portal?

No, you must go directly through your pharmacy in order to refill a prescription.

What do I do if my account is locked  due to too many failed log-in attempts?

Click on the “change password” tab and follow the instructions to create a new password.
